THE ALLIED SPECIAL FORCES ASSOCIATION - UK is dedicated to creating the ALLIED SPECIAL FORCES MEMORIAL GROVE at the NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM which will commemorate the men and women who sadly lost their lives whilst serving with ALLIED SPECIAL FORCES during World War 2 and in the Conflicts since.

	Royal Green Jackets & 22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Raymond joined D Sqn in 1979. Three years later he had helped liberate South Georgia and Raided Pebble Island destroying many Pucara Aircraft using his specialist demolition skills.

	Welsh Guards & 22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial John eventually joined D Sqn in 1975 and served in Oman, Northern Island and was on the Pebble Island Raid which destroyed 11 aircraft. He was big in stature and even bigger in spirit.

	22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Malcolm joined G Sqn in 1966 and had completed operational tours in Malaya, Borneo, Aden, Oman and Northern Ireland before the Falklands Conflict.

	Royal Corps of Transport & 22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial William passed selection in 1979 and continued to achieve high standards throughout his career.
BUNKER	Corporal	Paul	24145047	19th. May 1982	Age 28
	Royal Army Ordnance Corps & 22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Paul joined the SAS in 1976 and was in the helicopter that crashed on the Fortuna Glacier in South Georgia, he was rescued and then took part of the assault on Gryrviken. He then took part in the attack on Pebble Island.

	244 Signal Squadron (Air Support) and 22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Rab joined G Sqn in 1979 after volunteering to serve in Hereford from Brize Norton. He was a very talented piper who saw service in Northern Ireland before the Falklands conflict.

	Royal Army Medical Corps & 22nd Special Air Service Regiment Queens Gallantry Medal
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Phillip joined 22 SAS in 1972 and saw active service in Dhofar, Oman and Northern Ireland and was awarded the Queens Gallantry Medal for his efforts. He survived the helicopter crashes in South Georgia and raided Pebble Island.

	22nd. Special Air Service Regiment
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Sidney joined 22 SAS in 1973. He served first in B Sqn then D and saw active service in Dhofar, Northern Ireland, South Georgia and Pebble Island.

	9 Squadron Royal Engineers & 22nd. Special Air Service Regiment Queens Gallantry Medal & British Empire Medal
	St. Martins Churchyard, Hereford - SAS Regimental Plot - Falklands Memorial Lawrence joined D Sqn in 1968. During his service he was awarded the British Empire Medal.He took part in the recapture of South Georgia and raised the Union Flag there prior to accepting the surrender of the Argentine forces.
